We designed the lantern to be crafted from 3 mm thick wood materials like plywood or MDF, but you can scale the template files in popular software like AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, or other laser cutting software to suit any thickness you desire.
The lantern template includes a total of 38 2D parts to be cut with a laser cutter. These parts can be easily assembled with small tabs that fit into slots, requiring no glue or nails for assembly. This STL file can be opened in Windows 3D Viewer or a free 3D software like Blender, allowing you to see each part in detail for assembly guidance.
