This is the free STL download for the set of 4 elephant designs, each a flat-based 3D model made by extruding the 2D artwork to a single even height: the side-profile bull, the front-facing head with tusks, the angry sharp-tusked face, and the full walking body.
We extruded the designs to one even thickness over a flat back, so the model sits straight on the print bed with no supports and the elephant stands up as a clean relief on top. Because the back is flat and the height is consistent, the prints come out predictable, which makes these a good fit for relief pieces rather than sculpted, in-the-round figures.
File details:
- 4 elephant designs as solid, flat-based 3D models
- Single fixed height, extruded from the 2D artwork
- Flat back, prints without supports
- Opens in slicers and 3D software that reads mesh files
The flat relief form suits decorative wall plaques and panels, fridge magnets, coasters, and tokens, and it also works as a master for casting or pressing into molds. Scale a model in your slicer to the size your piece needs. Keep in mind that an STL is a finished mesh rather than an editable CAD body, so it is best used as-is or scaled rather than reshaped feature by feature; the densest design, the angry front face, holds its detail better at a slightly larger print size.
