This is the free STL download for the set of 10 hand symbol models. Each one is a solid, flat-based shape, so the file gives you ten print-ready gestures rather than complex sculpted forms.
We made these by taking the original 2D hand drawings and extruding them to one even height with a flat back, and that single decision is what makes them easy to print: the flat back sits straight on the bed with no supports, and the hand stands up as a clean relief on top. There are no overhangs to bridge and no fragile floating parts, which is why they work well at small sizes where a more detailed model would struggle.
File details:
- 10 gestures as solid, flat-based 3D models
- Single fixed height, extruded from the 2D artwork
- Flat back, prints without supports
- Opens in slicers and 3D software that reads mesh files
The ten gestures are thumbs up, peace sign, heart hands, pointing finger, raised fist, open hand with STOP, praying hands, rock-on horns, OK sign, and handshake. The flat relief shape suits small printed pieces like charms, pendants, keychains, magnets, and tokens, and the solid flat back also makes them usable as masters for casting or pressing into molds. Scale a model in your slicer before printing. One thing to keep in mind: an STL is a finished mesh, not an editable CAD body, so it is best used as-is or scaled to size rather than reshaped feature by feature; if you need to rework the outline itself, start from the SVG or DXF version instead.
