When tracing this wolf, I prefer to establish the narrowed eyes and exposed teeth first, because those shapes give the face its defiant expression. The angular fur sections then provide a guide for pencil texture, ink marks, or shaded color. On a wolf coloring page, use those sections to separate light and dark tones and give the rocky ground a rougher texture. You can also trace the scene onto drawing paper and develop the same features in your own hand-drawn illustration.
I prepared the PDF so the outlines and their thickness scale together when you change the print size. This keeps the line weight in proportion to the wolf and its details as you adjust the template for a coloring sheet, a larger paper decoration, or a woodcraft pattern.
