This is the SVG download for our cute cat and kitten set: eight separate SVG vector files in one ZIP. We drew four different big-eye kitten and cat characters, then prepared each character in two SVG versions: a plain artwork version and an outer-contour version.
The plain SVG versions keep the focus on the character drawing itself. Use them when you want the cat artwork as a scalable vector graphic for layout, engraving, vinyl, craft cutting, or editing in SVG-compatible software. We added the outer-contour versions for projects where the inside artwork should stay visible while the outside shape defines the cut.
These kittens are detailed character drawings, not one-piece connected cutwork silhouettes. We kept the eyes, fur shapes, paws, whiskers, and facial details as part of the character artwork instead of forcing every detail into a single connected silhouette. When you need a single outer shape, the contour version lets you use the inside as printed artwork, engraving, marking, or coloring detail while the outer edge becomes the cut boundary in your own workflow. That helps the finished piece read as a clean cat-shaped design instead of a loose rectangular patch placed on a surface.
These SVG vectors can be recolored, scaled, or combined with other elements in your design software. Check the scale before cutting, especially on the more detailed fur and eye areas, because very small sizes can make the interior detail harder to cut, weed, engrave, or mark cleanly.
We kept the four cat characters different from each other rather than making small variations of one pose. The set includes a fluffy seated kitten with a large tail, a round-faced cat with raised tail and whiskers, a front-facing kitten with heavier fur shapes, and a seated kitten with open paws and a curled tail. Each one comes with its matching outer-contour version.
