Before cutting the full set, measure your actual sheet thickness with calipers. Real 3 mm sheet material can vary by manufacturer, humidity, temperature, and material quality, so the slot fit should be checked against the material you will actually cut.

A small test cut on one panel slot is recommended before using a full sheet. If your material is not close to the intended 3 mm thickness, adjust the slot fit or scale before production to avoid loose or overly tight joints.
