The slots are drawn to exact nominal geometry, so the parts carry no built-in fit tolerance. Before cutting the full set, measure your actual sheet thickness with calipers, since real 3 mm material varies by manufacturer, humidity, temperature, and quality.
The seating fit is something you set, not something the file decides for you. Measure your own laser kerf, then use your measured kerf and sheet thickness to set the appropriate kerf compensation, offset, or slot adjustment in your cutting software, for example in LightBurn, and run a small test cut on one panel slot before using a full sheet. That way the file geometry is matched to your machine and your material.
The files are prepared for the laser-cut shade body. Use suitable LED lighting hardware when you turn the cut and assembled shade into a pendant lamp.
