Free racing car STL and STP 3D files with flame cutouts, large wheels, and rear wing for 3D printing and CAD solid design.

The oversized wheels, rear wing, and flames running through the body turn this racing car into a thin, plate-like 3D design rather than a sculpted vehicle model. This page provides separate free STL and STP downloads, with the STL prepared as a mesh for slicing and 3D printing and the STP supplied as a CAD solid for solid-model workflows.

I wanted the 3D version to keep the same visual relationship between the car and the fire instead of filling the original openings and turning the design into a plain raised silhouette. The flame, wheel, grille, and body openings continue through the 2.7 mm thickness, so the negative-space detail remains part of the physical shape.

The model is approximately 200 × 120 mm at its supplied scale. I kept it around this size with common 3D printer build areas in mind, while leaving users free to scale it for their own printer or CAD project. If you reduce it substantially, I would inspect the thinner flame tips, wheel detail, and narrow connections before printing or machining.

The STL is a single connected, closed mesh that can be brought into a slicer for 3D printing. Its flat form makes the racing car suitable for projects such as a garage or hobby-room wall emblem, a decorative magnet, a racing-themed panel insert, or another thin printed element where the flame cutouts can remain visible.

The STP file has a different job. It contains the same racing car as an AP214 B-Rep CAD solid, allowing the shape to be measured, scaled, positioned, or combined with other solid geometry in a CAD project. For example, the car could be incorporated into a larger plaque, panel, sign component, or other custom part before CAD/CAM preparation.

Download the Free Racing Car STL and STP 3D Files

The STL and STP versions are supplied as two separate ZIP downloads, so you can choose the file type that matches your workflow.

STL 3D Printing File

  • File format: STL
  • Package: ZIP with 1 STL file
  • Model type: flat 2D-derived extrusion
  • Approximate size: 200.02 × 120.26 mm
  • Thickness: 2.7 mm
  • Mesh structure: single connected closed mesh
  • Primary use: slicing and 3D printing

STP CAD Solid File

  • File format: STP (STEP)
  • Package: ZIP with 1 STP file
  • STEP standard: AP214
  • Model type: B-Rep CAD solid
  • Approximate size: 200.02 × 120.34 mm
  • Thickness: 2.7 mm
  • Solid structure: 1 manifold solid body
  • Primary use: CAD editing, measurement, solid-model integration, and CAD/CAM preparation

Download the STL ZIP when your next step is slicing and 3D printing, or choose the STP ZIP when you want to work with the racing car as a CAD solid. In either workflow, check the finer flame, wheel, and grille details before reducing the model significantly from its supplied size.
