Back in 2017, the laser cutting industry lacked well-drawn, dependable vector references that could genuinely inspire makers and fabricators. This category was built to fill that gap. Every design here is drawn manually in AutoCAD, with clean geometry and considered proportions, intended as both a working file and a reference point for anyone developing their own laser cut work.
The files are provided for personal fabrication use. They run on desktop diode lasers, CO₂ cutters, Glowforge units, and CNC routers, and the vector paths are clean enough to hand directly to a laser engraving service without preparation work. The designs cover standard sheet materials including MDF, plywood, balsa, and acrylic.
Each project page includes files in DXF, SVG, CDR, DWG, and PDF formats. Cut paths and engraving details sit on separate layers, so your laser software assigns toolpath settings without manual sorting. Because sheet thickness varies between suppliers, measure your actual stock and run a kerf test on a single joint before cutting the full assembly.
